I am a young lawyer based in Nairobi. Every morning I dress in dark stripped suit, crimson white shirt and maroon tie to plead on behalf of crime suspects in court. Cross-examination of state witnesses is the part that brings the creativity in me. I was torn between studying law and literature as a young student. A decade later I have lost the battle to my passion for literature. I am keen on literary fiction with themes revolving around politics, development and governance. Satire is my tool of writing. I am here because I love writing, but I am work in progress.
