Greenfire Profile

A retired physician--graduated from Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario--served one year as a medical officer in Korea during that war--four years of postgraduate training in general surgery in Flint and Ann Arbor, Michigan--private pilot with night rating--years of river-boating, mostly in isolated rivers in northern Alberta and British Columbia--set up and operated (at long-distance while continuing my surgical practice) a hydraulic placer gold mine for three years in the Cariboo gold country near Wells, BC. Since retiring, writing has occupied me full time; after startign with about a dozen shorter true stories,I recently completed my first novel.
