Profile Information

I want to start out by telling you that I am a retired gentleman who has a lot of time on my hands. I was born and raised on a little farm in the middle part of Wisconsin . My parents had a lot of children and we managed to eek out a living by growing a lot of our own food and picking wild berry's and fruit from our neighbors and friends. I made it through school as an average student and went to work as soon as I graduated. I went to work in a factory in Milwaukee but was told that as long as I hadn't been in the armed service yet they wouldn't train me for a better position. I enlisted in the Air Force and spent 4 years serving my country. I stay in California until my brother got married, I came back to Wisconsin because I was going to be his best man. I meet my wife then and we got married a year later. We had four children and led a varied life. I logged with another brothers for awhile, work as a farm hand, spent 14 years as a millwright until my knees gave out. Then I went to work as a baker in a specialty store, for a few years also at a food chain store. Then I went back to work in a factory until I tore a muscle lose in my right shoulder and couldn't work any more. I always love to tell my kids stories about life and its hardships. I always kept them entertained at night with tales I made up about anything they want to hear about. Now I sit at my computer and type out the tales that pop into my head when I'm resting or doing things that don't take my mind off stores I think about all the time. I move to Elkhorn eleven tears ago and now live five miles outside of Elkhorn on Highway 67 on a lake called Wandawega with my wife of forty years and my oldest daughter.
