SHORT BIO: Incidentally, I am an award-winning screenwriter on the film festival circuit and studied Creative Writing under professor and novelist, Rob Swigart, at San Jose State University. Additionally, I studied poetry under former California Poet Laureate, Anne Stanford, at Cal State Northridge, and won a national collegiate poetry contest. Also, I have read everything John Updike has written – at least 10 times, as well as J.D. Salinger, but, nonetheless, I do have my own distinct voice. Lastly, I am a lawyer transitioning into my life’s passion – novel writing. I live in Carlsbad, CA. Professor Swigart, who gave me an A+ in Advanced Creative Writing in 1978, commented just a few years ago, "How come I haven't seen your stuff in Borders yet?"
