Over my fifty-eight years, I have been told by everyone, from professors to grandchildren, that I write well. I want to hear it, or not, from strangers and other writers. Criticism, kindly given, is encouraging, motivating, and I appreciate it. My nursing career is but an eye-blink; I filled the preceding years with experiences that should be published only in fiction. I have four grown children, twelve grandchildren, and a host of friends so different from each other that they wouldn't even like each other. I am known best as a singer/songwriter, a poet, a muse. My goal as a writer is to share what I have discovered in my hard hike through life. I am addicted to words and refuse to repent. I am called the "grammar police" by family and friends; I refuse to repent of that, too. My life is good. I believe that writing for publication will make it even better.
