I'm Ian but often go by Ted as Terence is my middle name. I'm a British Diplomat and have lived and worked abroad for 18 years of my life, variously in Germany, South / South-East Asia and latterly in Russia. Writing is my esape from the bonds of government service. Although it isn't much of an escape, as I tend to write about things I know and have experienced. :-)
