I've been writing for a while, a fair amount of short stories (of which you can read a selection on my website!! www.drewjharrison.weebly.com) with an emphasis on that urban type writing, like Bukowski and Fante, but also some more strange, dark humoured writing. I've written seven novels, though some will never see the light of day again, and have just completed this one I'm posting - Zephyr. I've written another since and am editing that one at the moment. I love reading the hardboiled detective stuff, but also writers Etgar Keret, Aldous Huxley, Kafka blew me away when I first read his stuff, William Burroughs and Thomas Hardy - plus a load of other stuff as anybody into books would be I guess!
