Hi my name is Donna Ulett, and I am 45 years old and a mother of two wonderful children. I am a pre-school teacher by profession. Most of what the short stories are about is either some of my experiences that had happened to me in the past, something my girl friends and I talked about, some of my life time fantasies and also things that go on in our day to day lives. Actually, what really motivated me to write this story was, well I first start writing articles on the net just for fun and normally when I finished an article I would ask a friend to critique my work, just to find out what I am doing wrong, or should I add anything else or what I should have included in it, things like that before I submit my final work to be published. Getting the stories published was a big form of encouragement for me. One day I decided to take it to the next level. I thought about it first and I sat down one day and wrote my first short story. Actually, to be honest, it didn’t take one day to complete a story: once you start writing, the ideas just keep flowing in your brain. Then I asked my boyfriend to read it. He told me that he was impressed. He is a person who loves to read. He will read anything, from magazine articles, bibles, novels, to just about anything. He encouraged me to write a book, but I remembered that I had problems with grammar and spelling back in high school so I decided to take some grammar lessons and it did help me out a lot. He told me not to expect anything great, just do it in my spare time and keep at it until you get better, and I followed his advice. Actually I haven’t really told him that I wanted to publish my work yet. I am just going to give him a big surprise one day. Well I hope that everyone that purchases my book will enjoy the read!
