Dianne K Ramirez, Born in Trinidad and Tobago. I am a NYC based artist living with my fifteen-year-old daughter in Harlem. I am the author of Rotten Floorboards which was the recipient of the 2002 NYFA fellowship for playwriting.
Punctuation is my nemesis. Run on sentences my drug. I recently completed my first novel. I think it can be really good. However, I write plays which are not naturalistic and I have much to learn about writing prose.
Of course, I want it to be published. Of course, I have already started on my second. Open to any and all advice which will make me a better writer. I love short stories.
