6th generation Metis Texan living in Portland Oregon - not an easy task for a irreverent, laughter loving, storytelling woman. Digging in the dirt satisfies my need to grow my own food and root myself in the earth. My research in anthropological genealogy transfixes me to the computer for hours, lost in reading about the time and place of each migration and new settlement. The richness of these discoveries give me clues to the ultimate struggle of all living thing will to survive and flourish.
