M.A. Organizational Management. Previously an Executive Chef, I am currently CEO of a large, nonprofit organization. I've written scads of business-related materials (business plans, policies and procedures, newspaper articles and such), but am fairly new to fiction. Have written a 100,000 word novel (historical fiction), which is set in my home state of Maryland over three centuries - and several short stories. My immediate goal: "hard" publication (literary journal, etc.) of a short story as an avenue to getting an agent's attention. Long-term goal: selling my book to a publisher.
