I am a young entrepreneur, make-up artist, wife and aspiring author. I have been writing poetry, short stories and keeping journals my whole life but I was always told by my parents that there was no money or prestige in writing. Therefore, I went into a Pre-Med program in college. I wanted to change my major twice in college but my mother wasn't having it. I am currently thinking of going back and getting an English degree because I have made the conscious decision to pursue this longing and passion for writing that I've always had. I have lived a life that must be reflected through writing to the world and I plan to do that and more. Currently I am working on my first novel, "Pieces of Amber". I am very new to novel writing and welcome any advice or assistance that can be given.
