I'm an expatriate living in a small farming community in New Zealand. I took up writing to endeavour to try to entertain people and satisfy a want within myself to write since a young man but unable to pursue due to commitments. (a young marriage-a young family) Now that I have the time, I have all these stories in me but strangely they have an American genre about them (not all but a great deal). I have completed a novel which encompasses both USA and a NZ background and although slightly autobiographical in parts is essentially fiction I also have a novel length of short stories based on war and the part played in them by women.The wars cover from early twentieth century up until the current Iraq confrontation. I would have a lot more material but my wife developed Alzheimer's and that took up a great deal of my time over the past few years but now she has entered a resthome.
