Auriana Profile

Hello and thanks for stopping by! My life isn't too interesting so I'm not going to ramble here. I'm from New Jersey and have lived here all of my life (with the exception of school). I have a BA in Archaeology with a minor in Biblical Studies from the Univ. of Evansville in Indiana and a MPhil in Medieval Archaeology from the Univ. of Glasgow in Scotland. Currently I'm not actually working in my chosen field (lack of money and time for a PhD) but I hope to do so in the future. I want to concentrate primarily on the British Isles and even more so on mythology and folklore. Finding the roots of mythology by using archaeology and history fascinates me. I love animals (have 2 dogs and lots of birds). I also enjoy anime, manga and gaming. I love to write, it's something I've always enjoyed doing since I was a small child. In fact, many of my stories I created at a young age and have just kept expanding on them and improving them as time went on. I'm mainly interested in fantasy and historical fiction.
