Hi, my name is Emily. I am a 29 yr old PhD student of epidemiology that is close to getting her degree. I currently live in the Midwest but am originally from Florida (yes, I hate winter). I first got started as a writer through Grey's Anatomy fiction and this is my first foray into 'real' fiction. I love to hear from people. I am here to get opinions from others on my writing and make it better, so all comments welcome! Let's see, I love reading, writing, photography, photoshop, my IPOD, traveling, hiking, swimming, kayaking....and lots of other things I never get to do because of said dissertation.
