I am a 47 year old Woman From Western Canada. I live in Alberta. My Mother came from a farm in Saskatchewan and my Father is right from Scotland. From a young age l did well in Reading Comprehension and Vocabulary. I always had a creative/artistic bent to me. I took up Poety writing when l was 14 at a time my writing became my best friend. I loved that l could get everything down on paper especially in Poety. I like that l can condense an idea,feeling or concept in a few words in such a meaningful, cohesive, even beautiful way and make a impact. Order out of Choas. I write very simple poetry but don't let that fool you as it is very meaningful even deep at times. My poetry is visual even sensual. A combination of Visual, metaphor and meaning. I have some University Education but like many writers l have had mental health challenges. I am currently doing well living in the City of Calgary and going to college. Living on my own while having a significant other, my boyfriend in my life. I continue to write and improve. Please take time to read my work and give your impressions and comments.
