The novel I workshopped here - has now been published as an ebook on Smashwords. Thanks to all reviewers who gave me such valuable input and encouragement to get the book to this point.

It isn't the end of the story. I'm experimenting with different ways to reach readers, and you can follow my progress, or better still, be an active participant - at my blog - http://www.arealwriter.com.

I'm keeping the first few chapters of The Lebanese Troubles posted here. And for any tNBW member who might want to read more, and then post a single 250-500 word review on the Smashwords site, just let me know via the Forum (you can send me an email from there too), and I'll let you know how to get hold of a free review copy of the entire novel. (Winning new readers outside the site is all about creating a buzz - so every comment helps.

What I've discovered recently that the actual writing of the book is just the tip of the iceberg. Getting a novel in front of readers is a very demanding business, whichever way you decide to publish. For a while, as I try to keep up with everything, I'm going to be less active on the site. But I will continue to review whenever I can, and I'll keep up with the Forum.

In the pipeline? A new novel - an expat this time in an Afghan setting. And just for a challenge, the protagonist is a woman. I'll start posting when I'm coming close to the end - so I don't think this will be a strongest start entry.
