Hah! Bios are the hardest thing to write. Does anyone really read them? I’d rather face a horntail than divulge my deepest wonki secrets. Ah well, here’s a bit. I started writing a year ago. My first foray into the art of wordsmything was actually a Harry Potter fanfic. It was easy to begin because the characters already existed. However, I encountered a problem in the form of several muses telling me what to write. I thought I was supposed to be in charge. :) As you can see, I love playing with letters within words. (A bad habit I hope to break eventually—only after I finally come up with one that rates being added to Webster’s Dictionary.) I am currently in the process of learning to hone my craft, revising my HP fic and working on two original novels. I prefer writing in the Historical/Magickal/Romantica genre. What’s a little Romantica with Magick stirred in? Well, working with Elementals who enjoy caressing their lover/mate with sensual air or mist is just the beginning. As to History, I am fascinated with the cornucopia of possibilities within our past. I see my biggest problems in writing as passive voice and plot holes. I keep insisting to my computer that I’m not a passive. *growl* Plot holes bug me because shiny objects or persons who walk into my stories unannounced often distract me. During the last year, I’ve had the opportunity to learn from some great writers online. It’s my hope, I will be able to give back by reviewing others outside the realm of HP. I’m grateful for this website because it offers both the opportunity to read and critique while posting our original works. I plan on posting before the year is out. Favorite quote: "The beautiful part of writing is that you don't have to get it right the first time, unlike, say, a brain surgeon." ~ Robert Cromier Okay, so I’m bad and have more than one. Writing is like making love. Don't worry about the orgasm, just concentrate on the process. ~ Isabel Allende Who can resist? I don’t get it right the first time so I concentrate on the process in order to have a bang of an orgasm. Later, Aithne Jarretta Gazing around, Darius took in the falling snow. The way it rested on the pines gave the appearance of lacy frivolity on Mother Earth’s décor. ~ From, Frolic in the Snow, Aithne Jarretta P.S. About the image above. Of course it isn't me. I don't have a recent poto. :) Please take a moment to click on the website above. One Click could save your life.
