Wattpad Featured author who was selected to help promote the major motion picture The DUFF and made the Top 10 finalists in The Write Affair contest for story publication.
I write Young Adult and New Adult contemporary romance novels. In them, I attempt to buck cliches by writing female characters that are ‘real’. They are not the most popular, not the gorgeous, tall, skinny cheerleaders of the school and instead are average girls living their average, unnoticed lives. My male characters are able to see the true beauty that these girls possess and want it. Together, they face real-life problems and learn and grow as a couple.
My novel PIVOTAL MOMENTS is the first in the In Time series. It was chosen to be a Featured story in Jan 2015. It has reached the Top 20 in its category [ #17 in ChickLit]. In Feb 2015, it was chosen by Wattpad at the producers’ request to help promote the major motion picture The DUFF. It was featured, along with 22 other stories, on the official @theduffmovie profile’s reading list called ‘Cute and Confident’. In Mar 2015,
PIVOTAL MOMENTS made the Top 10 finalists in The Write Affair publishing contest that the site held in conjunction with Kensington Publishing. Recently, the official Wattpad Romance profile, @Romance, placed it on their ‘Modern Love’ reading list.
DECISIVE MOMENTS is the sequel and the second in the In Time series. It has reached the Top 30 in its category [ #22 in ChickLit].
THAT MOMENT is a short story/flash fiction that was written for a contest that @Romance held. It is a spin-off of the In Time series and features characters from the series. In Mar 2015 it was placed on @Romance’s Love Bites Short Story collection.
