When I was in my mid 20's, I worked as an advertising copywriter, writing ads for newspaper, magazine, radio, brochures, etc. It was an exciting vocation for a young person and I thoroughly enjoyed it. But like many people, my priorities changed as I grew older. I married, raised a family and changed careers. Fast forward to 2014. I am now in my early 60s and feel compelled to start writing again, not writing advertising but eager to explore other writing avenues such as Blogs and Short Stories. The problem is with so many years gone by, the ideas are still there, but the words don’t come easy to me. I'm hoping that "The Next Big Writer" community can help me rekindle my passion for writing.
