Topic: Extremely useful site

I don't know if anyone else has found this gem, but I love it. The amount of names that can be found here is virtually unlimited.

Re: Extremely useful site

Yes, I have used this site and a couple others. I used a western settlers name generator for the names I used in the Adventures of a Young Girl. I used a Thai name generator for an action-adventure story I started but have yet to complete. I used a lyrical name generator for a female superhero I was going to write but lost interest in the character and spent my whole time playing with names.  I always use foreign-language name sites for other stories, because sometimes a name describes character traits that define the character. A person could get carried away, if you're not careful.

very cool and useful.

Another potentially valuable site: www.iohai.com .

John Boyd, 'the fighter pilot who changed the art of war', quietly eclipsed both von Clausewitz and Sun Tzu.  He distilled his life's work into a set of briefings, which may occupy military theorists for the next century--or two.  It was his habit to give them himself, but they have survived him, and can be found on the site above.
