So if you left TNBW Premium before accumulating any credits for review work you've done there, and you came back later because you decided you miss the group, that wouldn't cost anything. It's leaving after doing the work that is expensive? It would be like closing your TNBW account and then coming back -- all the points would be cancelled?

Is there a video or something that explains the credit system via groups? I'm sincerely flummoxed on all this. Are we doubling our credit earnings if we review a work that is available in two groups we're in that use a credit system? And if I leave one but not the other, I keep the credits for the one I stay in but lose the credits for the one I don't stay in? (I don't mean doubling our overall points -- but acquiring points in two credit groups simultaneously, as if we're on two different Tnbw sites?)

While in Free Groups all of this is moot because there is no credit system?

(If I'm correct, can I get a "By George, she's got it"?) wink

Is this because you would lose any credits you've accumulated with this group? But you would keep credits you've accumulated with, for example, another group which operates by the point system?

(Sorry, I'm a little confused about how it all works. I didn't know leaving a group could be "expensive," and I'm not sure what that means. I assume by "expensive" you're referring to accumulated review points, not money.) smile

A potential issue:

It seems like it would make more sense to have "moderator" appear on someone's forum title only in the group where they actually are a moderator. Then there will likely be less confusion. I used to receive emails from new members with questions about TNBW at the old site -- technical questions they wanted fixed, etc -- simply because I'd started The Shred Thread and had "moderator" next to my name throughout the forum. They thought that meant I worked for the site. I foresee this being even more confusing at this new site, given how many groups there will be. It may be self-explanatory, but I thought I'd point it out.

For example, I see that Mrs. Piddles is listed in this group as a moderator, likely because she started a group on writing for children & young adults. I'm a new member, so I'm going to go Quickie infiltrate her with questions about my account and such.

Could get old! And confusing.

Only my thoughts.

I should have reported the fact that changing my pen name from "mabel" to "corra" means that when I write in the forums, the link in the forums to my pen name leads back to this thread now, rather than to my profile page -- which may be a glitch or may just be an issue with the site needing a few minutes to update. I'm repeating the issue here so you can have notifications about bugs in one place, Sol, if that's useful. Also, it gives me a chance to try a forum post again and see if it's updated. smile

Here's my profile.
