I may do that later today.  I miss the feeling of "home" while I'm trying to navigate new site.  I'm kinda lost big_smile   though I was able to post a review for a poetry entry quite easily.

I tried today and also couldn't. I got a message that the site would be down
for about ten hours, but it was dated for the 12th.

Hi all, the old site is up. It was up before but we accidentally had a message up blocking access. As promised, it is there for those that absolutely can't bear to leave it. We will not be developing any new features on it and will not be supporting it any longer, beyond making sure it is functional right now.

There could be a few bugs since we had to transfer it to a new domain.

You can access it at old.thenextbigwriter.com.

I had no problems getting in. I found old site fast and comfortable, but I know the new site will become like an old friend as soon as we bond and have a few beers together.

The old site was more user friendly. I feel lost here. I don't feel as connected to the other writers either.

If I want to delete my novels from the old site will that in any way affect the new?  I don't feel comfortable leaving my work lying around in an abandoned building so to speak.  Also, the one thing that was nice about the old site was the ability to see, roughly, how many views each chapter of my novels had.  Sort of gave me an idea of where readers lost interest.  Is there any way of checking that on the new site?

No, no connection.

You can see this. On the portoflio page, there is a tab labeled Statistics. The visits is only from the new site but all of the other stats were imported from the old one.
