Topic: Sol, help if you can...

I posted a short story Turtle Soup and no matter what I try can't get the font to be consistent. What would you suggest? The original doc was consistent.

Go to your start menu.
Open up Notepad.
Copy story into it.
It'll remove all formatting.
Copy again from Notepad.
Paste it to Word.
Highlight all
pick your font

Copy again.
paste into tNBW.

What Notepad?

Re: Sol, help if you can...

What device did you post it from? And what program?

Re: Sol, help if you can...

What is your operating system, Lesley? if it is Windows, there will be a Notepad. Just right-click on an empty space on your desktop and select "New --- Text Document". Don't even bother to change the name from "new Test Document.TXT". then do the copy/paste bit.

If you are on Linux, then use GEDIT in place of Notepad.

Re: Sol, help if you can...

All my notifications are saying from an unknown sender. It started yesterday. Is that an indication of a problem?  JP

Re: Sol, help if you can...

Tom kindly solves the problem, thank you!
I use an iPad. It has no start menu. I use an app called Pages to draft and can usually copy and paste. For some reason couldn't get it to work this time. But Tom fixed me up. He is a prince.

Thank you all.
