Topic: One minute rule

It's downright annoying that you have to wait a full minute to post between comments. I might not take me a full minute to read & write a sentence or two. Yes, I'm just complaining.

Re: One minute rule

Re: One minute rule

No delay. Janet, are you talking about delays between inline comments?

I had a problem (gone, I think), where the site would hang at various times for a minute, but that wasn't specific to comments.

Re: One minute rule

There isn't any one minute rule that I am aware of.

Re: One minute rule

When I comment on a thread and then go to another thread, if it takes less than a minute to make the second comment, I always get a message that says 60 seconds must elapse before you can make another comment.

Re: One minute rule

let's see

yep! Here's the message.

Re: One minute rule

That's strange. I just did two posts  within four seconds  of each other. But it could be because I am an admin. I'll check it out. It sounds like an anti-spam provision.

Re: One minute rule

I think she means either in-line or regular reviews, Sol. That has happened to me several times. I also have been blocked from making comments in a forum for 60 seconds, but that only happened once.

Re: One minute rule

What is also interesting, is that I check the 'subscribe to this thread' box and it NEVER gets checked and the link at the top still says "Subscribe"...
