Ricky Skaggs

My wife and I were blessed last night by attending a Ricky Skaggs concert in a very intimate venue of only about 200 people.  I must say being a bluegrass music fan I expected to enjoy this concert but was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed it.  Ricky is of course a consummate musician and his band Kentucky Thunder has some artists who could be solo acts.  What I enjoyed most were Ricky's stories of being raised in the mountains of Kentucky by strong Christian parents, and then his inclusion in his act of very thoughtful gospel songs as well as a personal testimony of his love for Jesus and the sacrifice He made for our salvation.  Good time and a real blessing.  Mike
