Sol, can you please let us know the current rules you're using on the right hand side of the home page to decide how long to leave new forum posts showing under the groups displayed there. I'm not sure if I'm seeing all of the new posts there or not before they disappear from that part of the screen.
On a related note, I think the default "Subscribe to this topic." checkbox should always default to checked for the initial creator of a post.

Agree. I am forever forgetting to check the box for my created threads, and then wonder why I am not being notified.

If you forget to subscribe and get notices for threads just go to the "show your posts" box at the top when you come to the forums and it will give all the posts you have commented on in order. Take care. Vern
Oh posts disappear all the time before I get a chance to read them. You consonantly have to scour 'old' listings. If three people post, then 3 more post in the same forum. The older 3 seem to be come non-highlighted quickly.
