Re: New member? Introduce yourself!

Hi all, my name is Reagan. I am new to this group and the site. I am in the process of finalizing my first novel: The Allure of the Forbidden. I have posted the first chapter and plan to post more chapters after getting some reviews. I kindly request for your reviews even as I also endeavor to review the work of other writers.

Re: New member? Introduce yourself!

I am very new to TheNextBigWriter and am trepidaciously making my way around. I posted the first chapter of an erotic romance novel I wrote a few years ago and have sat on when I couldn't get the interest of a publicist. I am very limited in resources, so even self-publishing fees and cover has put me off from doing more. I have no idea what to expect, but after being thrilled at completing a book and then it going no where, I've been pretty discouraged and am hoping to at least find some flicker of that thrill I once had and the opportunity to grow, improve, and use my editing skills to help others in a positive way.

Re: New member? Introduce yourself!

It seems like no one has written here for years.  Is it still active?

Hi there! Is this group still active?

Re: New member? Introduce yourself!

Not rly, but with patience you;ll get replies in here

Re: New member? Introduce yourself!

Greetings fellow writers.

I joined yesterday and am still trying to find my way around.  I was happy to find T he NextBigWriter because I’m actively looking for a community of writers

Although my primary genre is ya fantasy, I have a couple of short stories that fit into romance and would be happy to share them with you of someone can help me figure out how to do it. When I maximized the editor and pasted my story, I couldn’t find a submit or next or any button to do something.

Once I learn how to do that, I’ll be all set.

Re: New member? Introduce yourself!

Hello,
I just wanted to introduce myself to the group. My name is Ebtesam, I’m from Kuwait. I’m a fresh bachelor’s degree graduate in Industrial Engineering major. I’m new to the website, I’ve just joined few hours ago. I love reading romance novels and like writing about them. Usually, I read a novel and then write an essay about that novel, give my opinion on several things been covered in the book. However, I never published any of my essays, I only keep them for myself. In fact, I quit writing for almost 2 years but now I’m all in again! Recently, I finished my first essay on a romance novel I read. I wrote an argumentative essay about it. It would be highly appreciated if I get a good feedback from great people with such a talent! I’m looking forward to hear from you guys, as well as I go through some of your work.

Thanks,
Ebtesam

Re: New member? Introduce yourself!

Hi all! I'm Jon, and this is my first attempt at a novel. It is set in the last golden years of the Russian Empire, and the first book in what I hope will be a series covering 1899-1992. One of the central themes in the first book is a forbidden romance between and Orthodox priest and an aristocratic lady

Hi, I'm new to the group. I am currently writing a series of romance novellas that I intend self-publishing. Can anyone tell me how to make the most of being in this group. Writing is a long lonely journey and sharing that journey with like minded writers would be fantastic.

Welcome! And seriously, kudos to you for putting yourself out there. It takes real courage to not only write a series but also commit to self-publishing. You're absolutely right, writing can feel like a long, lonely road, but you've found a great group of people who truly get it. What inspired your writing and what's the current word count?
