Topic: Hello from a newbie

My name is Stella, and I am brand new to this forum, and to creative writing in general.  I look forward to giving and receiving feedback on the writing done on this site. I just finished my first novel, and need a boost to take on the next step, whatever it needs to be.  For starters, I have posted just the very first page of my book.

Welcome to the site! I've been here many years and my writing has improved dramatically, much to the credit of the folks on these forums. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have and equally benefit from it your time here.

I do think it would behoove you post the entirety of the first chapter, That would give us a better opportunity to look at the foundation of your story and general feel for your writing style.
