My name is E W Helmick and I am interested in Historical Fiction which might include bold and visual glances into history along with the telling of your story.

I am days away from taking my novel, The Hunger of a Nation to a professional editor and would appreciate your reviews too.
The book is 129,000 words...a bit lengthy, so curious as to whether it can serve as part I and II. I am in the process of reading, reading, reading to earn points, but would be grateful if you would join and follow along as I post more chapters. For now, the first chapter, The Corpse is posted and I value your professional input.

I'll take you up on that.

I, too, was ready to submit to agents, until Covid-19 set me back more than a month. After having made some changes here and there, I could use an extra pair of eyes before I get ready again.
