Hello NextBigWriter writers,

I just joined and posted my first novel excerpt. I'm a part-time professional writer, a freelance journalist and copywriter, and I've written an historical thriller set in colonial Indonesia on the eve of World War 2, titled The God of Crooked Things. The novel is basically finished and I've already queried a number of literary agents. Some of the feedback I've gotten has convinced me it's not quite ready for further marketing, so I'm really looking forward to your reactions to the writing as well as your constructive criticism. Not too long ago I hosted a writer's group at my home for a full year, so I'm already familiar with writing critiques. I look forward to reading some of your work and reciprocating with thoughtful comments.

There's no need to wait. Feel free to jump in and select a few stories to review. When you review a work, the author will be happy to reciprocate! That should get you started. JP

Welcome, Dan. SOunds like a novel I'd enjoy. Post away and I'll see what I can do during my prep for cataract surgery. Most authors (me included) will reciprocate for any reviews you do.
