Re: Voting is over

I'd call that a fairly amazing sweep, Janet. Congratulations on your win.

The cover art for my book made 8th place.

Re: Voting is over

Hold on, there, Janet. The final tallies have not been announced. Though I doubt the positions of you and TNBW will change, we have to wait for the announcement. Last year, it took at least two days to announce the winners.

Re: Voting is over

It's official! I have my certificate!!!!

Spirits' Desire wins!
The lust for adventure leads Rennin O'Rourke to read the memoirs of his ancestor and namesake as he shares parallel exploits. His quest brings him to his wife, the California gold fields, close encounters with death, a murder charge, the War Between the States, and ultimately back to a mythical land where only exceptional people may go.
Rennin meets Rebekah Sinclair, and the two of them embark on a lifetime of love and adventure as both are constantly compelled to return to a mythical place they have only read about. Draconis calls them home.

Re: Voting is over

Congratulations, Janet. Will you be serving a glass of ale to all who voted?

Re: Voting is over

Congratulations, Janet, and to the other TNBW writers who made it into the top ten in their categories. And though there were only three entrants in the Writers' Workshop category, TNBW came in first. Sol - a suggestion: You can use the first-place medallion in your advertising. I certainly used mine when promoting my book during the last year. Doesn't hurt! smile

Re: Voting is over

Congrats everyone!

Thank you! And, John, I will use that medallion.

Re: Voting is over

Many congrats to all.

Great suggestion to use the medallion. Since The Kurdish Connection ended up fourth, I'll add the Top 10 Finisher Best Thriller Novel where appropriate.
