because I just "spilled" water all over it ...

If you have to ask, you know that someone will give an answer you don't want.
So asking for forgiveness is better than asking for permission?
More practical, sometimes.
I just 'worked a bit late.' No forgiveness necessary.
I just published a whole new chapter to Dictates. Baked from scratch. OK, now it is time to catch up on a million recips.

I saw it. Review this evening.

#$%&! grrrrrr. This is going to be torture ... sorry, meant to say, a long week. I'm smack in the middle of doing someone a big favour. It's only 14 chapters, so it shouldn't take me longer than next week. But then! I'll be all over TOSOTW and the new Dictate chapters. heh, at least it's great motivation to get me going!
*typing this from a closet, kids in front of them bad electronic devices, 27 dresses on the tele*
How do I get you to review 14 chapters? Holy moly! I'll buy you some American wine:-)

Just lament lamentfully at how no-one sticks with your story and how you need someone to read through the whole thing to let you know what you've intended to bring across, came across. So I'm just reading and not reviewing in detail (although I'm making notes here and there when I see stuff that needs fixing IMO).
And of course, you need to review my writing dutifully, otherwise I will never talk to you ever again after I've gone through all this trouble (I'm like an elephant when it comes to remembering certain things - and this is one of them!). It's not my genre too, which makes it triple hard.
Heh, I don't even have to like you and I'll still do it. I'm such a push-over.
So basically, in your case, you don't even have to buy me wine ... But no more than 14 chapters, 10 even better. With wine, 20 chapters!
I'm really worried I "don't get it" though .... so I'm making all kinds of notes LOL
Send me an email and I'll review thei chapter number one

Get them hooked with a few of your best chapters, like Fishing and the chapters around Alina's duel and Katerin's promotion..

Au contraire! Simply shorten each story to 3 chapters and I guarantee they'll all get read
And don't forget to cram in as many adverbs as you can while you're at it!

I'm a "finisher" too, it helps those without the gift!
Well, start with the 'Fishing in the Catacombs' chapter. After you read that, even with the review, you'll owe the author!
still makes me laugh just thinking about it:-) I swear Alda wrote that chapter.
I just finished adding in the corrections from all the inline reviews of Chapter 14, 15, and 16. It was a day when my brain was working and I could process new ideas. Time to have a beer and burn away a few brain cells!
You've got at least one place with both olde and nuiw text, a big section.
Oh, you drunk is the perfect time to read Queen Amy. She's DOA, but I left her up to shame you for helping me create her.
You're on my dance card. Promise!
I finished a new Collin story after the revisions. Life gave a me a few free hours to type. Any takers?
New Jersey,
Fixed the chapter. No more accidental repeats. Thanks for the eyeball.
Oh, JANET!
You're two chapters behind now! :-)
Bwa ha ha! I'm a machine!

And a short story ... grrrrrrr - I'm back to "normal" again, so I'll catch up soon enough. Went to play soccer today with my two boys. It made me feel really old instead of young at heart. And I'm going to discover all kinds of new muscles tomorrow - hurting ones. And I have to do my Australian taxes too, but I hope if I wait a little bit longer, hubby will do it when he does his and I can get another chapter of NS out .... If that doesn't make you go "sigh, true love", nothing will!
Bwa ha ha! I'm a machine!
I'm going with zombie ...
