Bio: I've done a lot of different things... from blackjack dealer and pit boss to professional driver. If it has wheels, chances are I've driven it. I was an over-the-road truck driver for three years, traveling in 48 states and three provinces in Canada. I've delivered everything from plastic and steel pipe to diapers, chemicals, bottled water and chicken wire -- to name a few. I've also delivered people as an over-the-road motor coach operator. I'm a veteran. I was Military Police, Crossed Pistols, in the Army. I mostly worked law enforcement, but I was also attached to the Personnel Security Division, PSD. Our elite platoon provided security for high-ranking officers who were under active death threat. Initially, I was the only woman in the platoon. At one point, we also provided residential security for the CIA Station Chief in Frankfurt, Germany. I mostly worked uniform, but I also did some undercover assignments. Among other things, my Military Occupational Specialty and training included crime scene investigation, counterterrorism, bomb threats, and hostage situations. I've traveled extensively outside of the United States. I own a job service and have a great boss -- me. I am also a victim's advocate with my local police department. Throughout everything, I've always considered myself a writer.

My novel 'Sleeping With Skeletons' (formerly 'Skeletons') was workshopped here. The feedback I received was instrumental in getting a publishing contract with The Wild Rose Press. The novel was in the top 10 of this website until I disabled it. Since it has been published, I have pulled it from the site. If you are interested in reading an excerpt, or viewing the trailer, just click on the above link.

Currently, I am working on two novels, one is entitled 'Spiders.' The other is entitled 'The Jaded Geisha.' The latter is my 2009 NaNo project. I am also writing it for a special submission call from my publisher. I hope you will drop in to read and review one of those. (Actually, I've temporarily disabled The Jaded Geisha.) However, I'm not currently doing many reviews, so you may want to review someone else. Thanks. Doralynn
