| Bio: | Short fiction of mine has appeared in the Winter 2005 issue of Beginnings Magazine, reached final consideration in a 2003 contest run by Carve Magazine, and earned an Honorable Mention in Glimmer Train's Short Story Awards for New Writers in May 2009. I was also the featured fiction selection at the Indiana University-Purdue University, Indianapolis International Women's Day Celebration in 2010 as well as a finalist in the 2010 Santa Fe Literary Awards Program. I completed a Master’s in Microbiology at The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2002, where I won several awards for teaching and published my thesis work. I play drums for a studio project and currently live in Indianapolis with my husband of twelve years and two awesome cats. |
