| Bio: | "Houston Holway" is the pen name of a corporate bankruptcy lawyer at an international law firm. He can often be found in the courtroom advocating for his client or in the library writing persuasive pro bono briefs seeking benefits for our nation's veterans. In addition to a successful law practice, he spends his nights and weekends writing. His passion for creative writing began at Texas Christian University where he was named Columnist of the Year by the editorial staff of the Daily Skiff, the university’s newspaper. Additionally, the TCU English Department awarded him first prize in the Loraine Shirley Writing Portfolio Competition for his collected writings. After college, Houston attended the University of Edinburgh in Scotland where he spent a year studying literature and was granted a Masters of Science by Research in English Literature. |
