I am a writer, well a beginning writer actually.  I am aspiring to take after Whistler's mother and be published sometime soon, before I reach an age where I can't appreciate my accomplishment.  I am interested in everything.  I love to learn.  I love to try creative outlets such as writing, crafts, cooking, baking and needlecrafts.  I love to read. 

I am a happily married woman with the most wonderful husband in the world.  That doesn't mean we don't disagree, argue, and sometimes yell at one another (although that's mostly because we don't hear as well as we used to hear).  My husband gave me many generous, wonderful gifts over our 28 year marriage, but most precious to me is our three grandchildren who keep us guessing and never cease to amaze me.

I am a daughter and a sister.  I am a member of a shrinking family all of whom I love, though there are some who I don't really like.  Hey, I'm human, aren't you?

I am a college graduate with a bachelor of arts degree in sociology.  I must admit, the degree didn't help me at all in life, but it is an accomplishment I am very proud of.

My work history?  I really don't want to talk about it, so I won't.

If I am nothing else, I am me.
