I really do live in Surpise. Surprise, Arizona. I use the title, Writer, becase I write. The title of Author is reserved until the time I publish one of my stories.

I have been married for 40 years, so that will give you an idea of my age. I have only been writing seriously, for a few years. I don't want to bore you with the, "I was born with a pencil in my hand", or "I have been writing all my life". I have always been interested in writing. I started out with poetry and have moved on to prose. I have been writing on and off for decades.

I live in a crazy, maddening, happy, stressful home with my husband, my mother and step-father, both nearly 90, my mother-in-law, and my eldest son. We are caregivers to our parents, one of which is suffering from Lewy-Body Dementia, which causes a LOT of hallucinations. As I sit here and write, a man is sitting in the chair and has dropped his glasses.

Hmm, these sightings have given me inspiration for a story...

I find reading and writing to be my outlet. They keep me sane. My favorite things to write about fall into the Science Fiction category, I suppose. I love to write some sort of time travel, historical romance with a bit of comedy thrown in.
