Let's see how well you know your own characters. Which of your mains is most likely to:

I think Drech would wind surf. He is very daring and makes rather rash decisions.
Sil would eat food off the ground
Kha would drink too much
Airen would wind surf
Alda would trip
Anver would disassemble something magical or mechanical
Buy a house? Tazar. He supports a home for orphans in the city.
a) Observe the 5-second rule of dropped food? Isaac, because his family are dirt poor and have no food to waste (like 99% of the border population to be honest) and less serious, George (the horse specialist and joker - more than everyone else that is, all of them are but not this much) just to gross everyone out
b) drink more than they should? Anthony Aiden - this one's easy, he already drink more than he should! And sleeping around too!
c) wind surf? Catherine - especially if anyone else told her not to!
d) trip? The villain - and at the worst time possible (that chapter is almost ready to go)
e) Disassemble something (either mechanical or magical) Black John - he's the hands on guy around for sure
f) Want to buy a house (as opposed to a flat / renting) Everyone that doesn't, not that they can afford it 
and Black John will have to find a bigger place to stay soon though and he'd be anle to afford it

Tazar was a street kid, which is one of many reasons he never learned to read. He pays his winnings to Fadie and she helps the woman who got Tazar off the street. No one knows who the benefactor is. Tazar doesn't want the credit.
Alright. Sticking to characters that have already been introduced, here goes...
a) Observe the 5-second rule of dropped food? - Merrin, Noi & Dea. Merrin grew up on the streets and will eat almost anything. Noi & Dea are dragons. Their food is supposed to drop to the ground before they eat it.
b) Drink more than they should? - Noi. He doesn't know any better and he likes the taste.
c) Wind surf? - Merrin & Vierra. They're more adventurous than anyone else.
d) Trip? - Maya. Of anyone, she's the least physically capable and she's always daydreaming.
e) Disassemble something (either mechanical or magical) - Dea, while ordering a pair of human hands to assist her.
f) Want to buy a house (as opposed to a flat / renting) - Merrin. He's never had a home of his own.
