No problem - I worked it out. Just posted the rewritten chapter. Thanks again!

Hello everyone. I've posted the first two chapters of my novel and received lots of feedback especially on chapter 1. I've since substantially rewritten that chapter (not just minor tweaks) and would like to get feedback on the new version, befoe going on to sequentially publish the rest of the first 18,500 words.

What's the best approach to this? Do I need to actually delete my original chapter 1 and repost? Or am I missing a 'post 2nd draft' button?

Many thanks.

Gulp. Clicking the Publish button took some doing, but I've just published Chapter 1 of my new book (titled The Paths for now). Please take a look if you have a moment - all feedback very much welcomed!

Thanks Alan - the welcome and advice are much appreciated!

Interesting to hear about your Welsh roots, too. Pembrokeshire is a beautiful part of the country.

Hi everyone, I've just joined and thought I would say a quick hello. I'm from Cardiff, Wales. I'm restarting writing after a gap of maybe 10 years, having previously completed a novel and done nothing with it. I'm now working on a completely new idea which I started writing just yesterday.

My first chapter isn't ready to post yet, but is it OK to get stuck in and start looking at / commenting on other people's work anyway? I'm not sure of the etiquette!
