Good morning! Just joined today. I'm a freelance writer, and up to now have done mostly corporate and business writing, communications consulting, and essay writing for my own blog and other blogs/local publications. I have a completed draft of my first novel, and am in the process of querying agents. I've had several friends (some who are also writers) read my book and have gotten positive feedback. I don't have a slot for a regular writer's group in my schedule (other job = family chauffeur, three kids), and I would really enjoy connecting with other writers, reviewing work, and would benefit from additional feedback on my own as I continue the query process. Any/all help on the query and publishing process would be great!
One other note -- I did post my summary and first chapter, but cannot seem to get a photo to upload to complete my own cover design, and couldn't find anything in Help/tips. Any thoughts? Thank you!
