I've recently completed all chapters currently posted for Suin and Alkemi. I'm now going through Matthew's book.

For anyone who has finished reading my novel, I've posted revisions for chapters 27, 28, and 29. Would love feedback since I've changed them quite a bit based on feedback/reviews.

I hope everyone is doing well!  And I apologize for being such a bad chat room participant.

I just wanted to take a moment to address two questions I have been asked by people in this group: why don't I respond to the reviews I get? and why don't I communicate in the message board? The best answer I have for both is simple. I suck.

I used to be very prompt at responding to the reviews I received and always made sure to read posts in a timely manner. All I can say is life gets in the way and steals my precious writing time from me. When I only have an hour a day to dedicate to writing, I have to split it between my own work and these reviews. Message boards and responding to inlines, to me, seem to take up too much of that hour to spare. So I just stopped doing it.

Did you all know I actually left my career of 20 years because it absorbed so much of my personal life and all I wanted was to have time to be with family and to allow myself time to write? So I started a new career one year ago. As of now, I wake early every morning to work on reviews and my own story, but it isn't enough. I'm still struggling to balance my time. But I'll get there!

In the meantime, please understand that I read every review you all give me and I appreciate the time you all take to read my story and provide your feedback. Please don't take my lack of response as disinterest. It's just my weakness and something I'm working to correct.

Completed a few chapters for Suin.

Finished Matthew's chapters 14 and 15. Seems I haven't been very good at posting here when I finished a review. I'll be better at that. I noticed Cobber's book has been pulled. I'll move onto the next name on my list until I see the book again.

Read Matthew's chapter 9.

I read a chapter for Jube, Alkemi, and Suin.

Hi everyone. I wanted to chime in and let everyone know I have not forgotten this group, or my commitment to the reviews. My job has kept me thoroughly busy, during working hours and beyond. So much so that I have taken a long thought about my career and my future, and how in the world I could ensure writing was part of it. I need a job so I can take care of my financial responsibilities, but my current job is too demanding. I miss writing when I can't get the time. Writing makes me happy. I should be able to write, even if I may never sell a word, I still want to me able to write.

So I've decided to take a different approach to my career. I'm currently taking night classes in hopes I can leave the industry I've been in for 20 years and start anew, with a flexible schedule that will give me time to work on my book, and these reviews, and bettering my skills.  If all goes well, I hope to be in a new field come January. Until then, and at the very least through August, I will be knee deep with work and studying. I will likely not get the time to review again, or even look at my own story, until next month. I apologies for the delay, I haven't forgotten about you all, and I have no intention of abandoning your work or my commitment. I just ask for a delay for the month so I can realign my priorities and get a new future set together.

Wish me luck. I think I might be nuts, but in the end, if I can pay my bills and add writing to my daily routine, it will be a success.
