Topic: points for posting in groups
Just a question. If we post in a group that takes points for posting, do we have to double post in the group and in the premium/free group and does it take double points?

It will, according to Sol, although he's mentioned he might grandfather those of us who have works in progress to post to a new group without points. Until the groups get more established, I'm continuing to post my stuff in the Premium group. I may post future work in the subject groups, but I'm waiting to see how they are utilized.
Hey, Janet - As far as I'm concerned, the group is there for like-minded authors to talk about the genre, give - and receive - advice/tips. Don't feel like you have to post your stories in the sub-group. If I were you, I'd post them in the Premium group. Members of the sub-groups to which you belong - and your connections - will be made aware of the posting. And it will get you a larger audience. Think of the TMS group as a place to have a cup of coffee and chat about the genre. That's why I started it - not to develop an elite clique.

That's what I've also noticed, it doesn't matter where you post, on your homepage, it will show. Even better if you are connected - I scan the posts to the Premium Group, but my Connections get first priority!
I'm conducting an experiment. My stuff carried over from the old site to the premium group, so I posted a chapter to Cop Shop and a short story to Thriller, just to see which got the most response. So far, the story in Thriller has had the most immediate feedback. But that's just me. JP
P.S. I forgot to say: the group that's shown the least response is the Premium Group. I was thinking it was because there's such a lot of stuff to choose from, people are still finding their way. What has been your experience?

Jack--If you can, I vote that we change the name of the group to Thriller....
