Topic: etc3

I'm a unique position in this rewrite to rename one group of entities who suffered a name-similarity problem.
In the main milieu, the characters fight a coalition of what I'll call [Coalition Wizards]
Much later they fight the world's ruling council ... What I'll call [Council Wizards]
This term-similarity has been dogging me for decades, but I'm in a position to finally change the second one,
For now, Council was changed to Tower. It works because the council meets in a tower. But it's a bit weak. Thoughts? Invent a foreign-sounding word? Steal from the Bible (wizards of Gilgamesh)?

Re: etc3

I'd plug your above paragraph into one or more AIs and see what they come up with. Gemini has been pretty good with helping me name a few things.

Edit: Tower Wizards doesn't sound ideal. It doesn't suggest anything about what they are/do in the story.

Re: etc3

Wizards of Gilgamesh sounds pretty cool. Along those lines - Dark Lords of Babel. Sons of Molech.

Search "Pagan God's of the Bible" or similarly. Or search cities names.

Re: etc3

"Alliance" for "Coalition"?  Use two words for one of the descriptors?  Eg. "Kleenex Council"/"Council of Kleenex" which can be shortened to the unambiguous "Kleenex"?
