The first and only time I was ever summoned to the principal's office was in seventh grade. Apparently the "books" I was writing and sharing with my friends were getting more attention in class than the teacher ... I think it was then that I knew what I wanted to do with my life! While currently an Event Coordinator with the Town of Estes Park, most of my adult life was spent as a newspaper feature writer, columnist and special sections editor.
My husband, Joel, and I have been married for 11 years and we have two grown sons from my "previous life," two beautiful daughter-in-laws and two wonderful grandchildren. In our spare time we attend concerts, Denver Broncos games, ride Joel's Harley and take care of our two dogs, four cats, a fish and two miniature horses. |
