Topic: Oldies but goldies.

Got into some 'ancient' sci-fi lately: short stories and novels by the likes of Cliff Simak, Robert Sheckley, John Brunner, Poul Anderson, Randall Garrett, (early) Robert Silberberg, Harry Harrison, Lester del Rey. Hard to beat. Anyone else here enjoys this kind of stuff?

Re: Oldies but goldies.

No Asimov or Arthur C. Clarke or Frederick Pohl or Ray Bradbury?
And Frank Herbert's Dune is probably older than you are. Naturally, I have a signed first edition. tongue
Asimov was once asked what he'd do if he was told he had only one year to live. His answer: writer faster! :-)

Read all these guys already, Dirk. If only Dune could be older.     :o)
