Hi there. I am 21 years old and am from Bangladesh. I have been working on a lgbtq+ psychological drama novel. I have finished the outline and am currently at the character profile stage. My discussion topic would be, do you have any general advice on writing a novel? If that's too vague, are there any common mistakes you see beginner writers make? Is there anything I should keep in mind when writing the first draft? I personally struggle with underwriting. My descriptions tend to be quite stale, and my structures lack symmetry. What are some things that the best kinds of writing you come across have in common?
