I am a firm believer in getting a manuscript edited professionally, except I don't have a clue how to find one except recommendations. Does anyone have a reasonably priced editor they might recommend.

I would like to hear the top three marketing tips for a new novel. I hear a lot about reviews, etc. and advertising but there has to be some tried and true things that new authors use. Help!
