I just posted lesson 3 on verb tenses. Give it a read. Remember for the homework to use the site's posting tool to put the assignment up. Do not post it in the forum. I have a much harder time responding to content posted in the forum.

After completing the assignment, I can say- I like past tense much better. Present tense felt tedious and boring. However, that said, maybe a story meant to be told in present tense would fair much better than one already started and thought of as in the past.

The piece of a story I posted was originally written in past tense, but I found the immediacy of present tense made it funnier.  Just depends on what you're writing about, I guess.  JP
