Lyrica was born in Penza, Russia during the turbulent times of USSR collapse. Growing up during that volatile period taught Lyrica that life can be very different, and, while it is full of beauty and marvels, it is also suffused with suffering and pain.
As a child, Lyrica had many hobbies, but the ones that stuck around with her during her entire life were studying English and writing stories. So, it was not surprising when she chose English as her major when she went to college in Russia.
In 2007, she realized one of her sacred childhood dreams and visited the United States of America. Little did she know that the encounter with the new world would change her life forever, and in 2008, she decided to move to the US for good.
From 2012 to 2016, Lyrica was pursuing a career in the Business field, deciding that, unlike creative writing, a management position would be able to provide for her and her family. Yet, after graduating with degrees in Accounting, Business Management, and Marketing, Lyrica could not help but go back to her calling of writing. In 2016, she drafted her first book Foreigner and enrolled in SNHU. While she never had been a stellar student, Lyrica finished SNHU with exemplary grades and obtained her Master's Degree in Creative Writing in 2019.
